    Sustainability

One of Red Pine Apothecary's goals is to source as many ingredients from North America as possible. This aids our goal to bring you products as sustainably as possible, by reducing carbon emissions, ensuring fair wages and farming practices when sourcing ingredients, and supporting the local economy. You'll find raw local honey, grass-fed tallow, wild-harvested pine resin, and many other star ingredients in our products. Any ingredients that are not North American are fair-trade certified.

    Grass-Fed Tallow

When looking into keeping products palm-oil free, I went on the search for a more sustainable option. Being in Texas, we are proud to have grass-fed tallow widely available.

Not only is this a wonderful way to keep products from going to waste, grass-fed tallow contains beneficial antioxidants and vitamins A, D, E and K. Tallow soap is popular for people who have various skin conditions because it is so gentle and effective at the same time.

Red Pine Apothecary is proud to source our tallow from Texas and to use this superstar in many of our products.
