Miel y Cafe | Grass-Fed Tallow + Chicory Coffee Bar

BENEFITS: Scent: Sandalwood, Grapefruit and Vanilla Oleoresin essential oil.

This bar was named for one of my favorite Spanish language songs, Tobaco y Chanel by Bacilos.  It tells the story of someone looking for their love, and talks about how their kisses tasted like a mixture of honey and coffee.  Looking deeper, the song also tells how the singer is longing for his home country.  I've always loved the song, and wanted to pay homage with a honey and coffee bar.

Instead of traditional coffee, I wanted to utilize Louisiana chicory coffee as a replacement, and of course I have raw local Texas honey for its humectant properties.  Like all Red Pine Apothecary cold-processed soaps, these bars are scented with only natural essential oils and have no synthetic coloring agents.
